What is A+ Workshops?
A+ Workshops provides energetic professional development workshops designed to invigorate educators with the joy of teaching. Each A+ Educators workshop focuses on the art of teaching through professional dialogue, research-based strategies, and practical classroom implementation. How do I register for a workshop?
You can register for any workshop in one of the following ways:

Online: Search for the workshop you would like to register for, then click on "Register Now." Complete the requested information and submit your registration.

By Fax or Mail: Search the A+ Workshops website for the workshop you would like to register for, locate the workshop on the search results page, then click on "Registration Form" (download pdf file). Print out the Registration Form and fax your completed form to 888-756-7628 or mail with your payment to A+ Workshops, 7227 N. 16th St., Suite 190, Phoenix AZ 85020.

By Phone. Call us toll-free at (866) 626-7550 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Please have the workshop name, date, location and payment information available. We will also need to know the name, phone number, email address, title and grade level of each attendee. We'll be glad to help you register.

Do you accept purchase orders for registration?
Yes, you may register with a school or district purchase order. Simply supply A+ Workshops with the purchase order number and the name, address, and phone number of the school or district responsible for payment at the time you register. Make sure to fax a copy of the purchase order to A+ Educators at 888-756-7628.
If you are registering online, please provide your purchase order number in the box provided. If you are unsure of your purchase order number at the time of registration, you may leave this box blank and provide us with your information by phone or fax up until the date of your scheduled workshop.

Is there a registration deadline?
There is no cut-off date for accepting registrations. We accept registrations up to the day of the workshop, including on-site walk-in registrations when space permits. Workshops are closed to registration when they reach the capacity of the workshop site. In order to ensure you have a seat reserved, we encourage everyone to register early.

When is my payment due?
Registration fees are due and payable at the time of your scheduled workshop. You may also pay prior to your workshop date, either online, by phone or by mail. Checks, VISA and MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted. No cash please.

What if I need to cancel my registration?
If you are unable to attend your scheduled workshop, your paid registration fee is fully refundable if you notify us of your cancellation at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to your workshop date. Late cancellations receive credit toward a future workshop. Please call our Registration Department at (866) 626-7550, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST, if you need to cancel your registration.

Can someone else substitute for me at the workshop?
Substitutions may be made at any time. If you know who will be taking your place prior to the workshop, please give us a call at (866) 626-7550, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST, with their name and registration information. Otherwise, have your substitute notify the on-site registrar the morning of the workshop and we will take care of it for you.

What are the starting and ending times of the workshops?
Most workshops are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mid-morning and mid-afternoon breaks are scheduled. Participants will receive a complimentary lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Where is the workshop, and how do I get there?
To find out when and where your workshop is being held as well as access a map and directions:
1. Search for the workshop you have registered for.
2. Once you are viewing the event’s page click on “Map to Event Location” in the location information of the event. This will direct you to a map and driving directions from Mapquest.
3. If you are still unsure how to get to the workshop you can call the location for directions

Is there a parking fee at the site?
Some workshop sites may charge a parking fee. Any additional fees will be listed on your workshop detail page. You can also check your account page for parking fee information. Workshop participants are responsible for paying any parking fees.

Will the seminar be cancelled if bad weather is expected?
A+ Workshops makes every effort to present all scheduled workshops. In cases of severe weather, please call the meeting site directly on the morning of the workshop to confirm whether or not the workshop will be held that day. If you need to cancel due to inclement weather please call our Registration Department at (866) 626-7550, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST, and we will issue a credit for a future workshop.

May I tape record or videotape the seminar?
Due to copyright and trademark issues we cannot give permission to audiotape or videotape our workshops.

Is attendance verification available?
All workshop attendees will be provided with a personalized certificate verifying hours of participation. This certificate may be used to meet individual continuing education or re-certification requirements in your local school or district.

Can I earn college credit for attending one of your workshops?
Yes! Participants attending A+ Educators workshops have the opportunity to earn one graduate elective credit at Brandman University by completing a follow-up practicum project and paying an additional fee of $65. Brandman University is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. This graduate credit is not part of a degree program but is primarily used for professional advancement (such as salary advancement and license renewal). Students should seek approval of appropriate district or college officials before enrolling in these courses to satisfy any degree, certification or state/local professional development requirements.

What other types of re-certification credits are available?
Re-certification credits and Continuing Education Unit (CEU) options vary from state to state. A+ Workshops is an approved provider for most state re-certification credits. Please check the individual workshop detail page for information pertaining to Continuing Education Units.

Are A+ Workshops' presenters available for on-site training?

Do you offer group discounts?

What funding sources are available to help pay for workshops?
Funding sources that may be available include: Title I, Title II, Title IV, Title VI, Title VII, Restructuring Grants, At-Risk, Bilingual/ESL and Migrant Education Funds, "No Child Left Behind" Funds, IDEA, Demonstration School Funds, Parent Teacher Organizations, Inservice Training, and School Improvement Funds.
